I've dropped 13 pounds since April 15th - and the 21 days in California actually put weight on. There are too many good restaurants in Sacramento, and that's where I did most of my dining.
I overexerted myself during the move from Virginia and had swollen ankles (i.e. inflammation) for several days afterward. They aren't swollen any longer which suggests that some of my quick weight loss was probably due to the prior quick weight GAIN caused by retained water. That means I won't lose weight as quickly from this point forward. Eliminating water is usually relatively easy (unless you have a bad ticker).
However, I'm continuing to lose weight - hitting another milestone just this morning. My diet has changed and I'm doing significant physical work every day. That's the secret to long term weight loss. I'm looking forward to being below 200 pounds again. That will take a while
but I bet I'm there by New Years.
