"Texas is third."

I'm sure this was simply your way of throwing bait out on the water, but ...

I'll go ahead and respond, anyway.

Texas is the second largest state (by area) in the United States.

1. Alaska = 665K square miles
2. Texas = 269K square miles
3. California = 164K square miles
4. Montana = 147K square miles
5. New Mexico = 122K square miles
...
11. Michigan = 97K square miles
...
22. Florida = 66K square miles
...
24. Georgia = 59K square miles.

This is your geography lesson for the day.

Shame they has to pass thru Georgia to get there. Such a long state to drive thru..

...Georgia is the largest state east of the Mississippi. Alaska is the largest state west of the Mississippi. Texas is third.
