Consider this scripture. ISAIAH 45: 22
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
The Prophet Isaiah preached unto the people this verse unto all that would hear.
It is a lesson from the Hebrews wandering in the wilderness
and grumbling, and complaining against GOD, and God sent poisonous snakes among them whose bite was fatal.
Moses went and intervened for the people with GOD on the Mount and GOD told him to make a brass image of a snake and to curl it around the end of a tall pole. ANYONE who gets bitten but will TRUST THE LORD that he would be healed when he LOOKS UPON that image and reminder of GOD's FAITHFULNESS, they would not die.....
SO, if they LOOKED UNTO HIM, BELIEVED, then they would LIVE !!
NUMBERS chapter 21
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Num. 21: 8
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Num 21:9
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
