Wants are unlimited.

We can all sit down and list everything that we want, and the list never has to end. We can *always* whisk into our minds another want.

What we can't *whisk* into existence is unlimited steel, lumber, labor, commodities, capital ... In other words, the means to satisfy wants are always scarce. Means are *not* unlimited.

Enter the delusional politicians who promise FREE this ... FREE that ... FREE everything else.

Government literally has nothing of its own. Everything that it has, it must first steal from someone else. Actually it's even worse than that. Not only does government have nothing, but it has IOU's, debts, pensions, benefits and promises piled up so high, that it'll never come through in satisfying them.

The first law of politics really is to ignore reality.

While politicians can lie, the marketplace cannot.

Voluntary trade enables people to satisfy their most urgent wants. Prices alert everyone as to the supply and demand of any particular commodity or service. Profits and Losses act as a guide in alerting producers as to what people desire most (and least).

The vast majority of politicians are con-men.

The market (when left free of government interference) cannot tell a lie.
