Being nervous is normal. However, you've already posted words to the effect that your life isn't worth living the way it is today. If you really meant that, then the surgery is a no brainer.

I'm confident it will go well and positive that you're doing the right thing. But - here's to hoping for smooth sailing tomorrow and that you continue divoting up America's golf courses for many years to come.

Well
time is upon me. IN less than 22 hours I need to be at hospital and up at surgical prep.

AM I nervous?

Yep. A little. WHY? Because I have no control over how things go and I don't like that. PLus, I suppose my inner self knows that when your spine is being surgically repaired, things that POSSIBLY, though unlikely, could go awry would cause some serious life changing conditions.

SO, this is a blind trust in my surgeon affair. Besides, I am somewhat claustrophobic and hence do not like masks being placed over my mouth and nose. Again, I am not in control so it bothers me....

I am sure it will go smoothly and all I want to do is go there and go to sleep. Wake me up when its over..

Until then, I THINK TOO MUCH. Need to relax and not worry.

I have three new books I am waiting to show up at home I Ordered for study. One in particular is the New Testament organized into chronological order of times so it is easier to grasp what happened when and what instruction was given at various times.

I have done this myself when teaching but to actually have the Bible printed this way will be interesting and exciting to me...

I suppose with ANXIOUS nervousness comes a little heightened blood pressure. I can feel it in my arms...


Amazing how I have been looking forward to this day over 4 months ago and now that it is here, I am nervous...

This will be my Ninth surgery. SO its not like I am new to this... Just older...

Anyway, that is what is going through my mind right now.
