AWESOME !!

That is how it should be. My son in law has done the same thing with his 14 year old son. Only he takes him to a legal shooting club where he can shoot without endangering anyone else. Son in law is a registered FFL dealer.

SO my grandson and granddaughter BOTH know how to handle a handgun and AR 15 rifles as well as a .22 long semi auto rifle safely and legally.

A good thing....

MY HOME is like the old commercial about the roach hotel.

BUGS check in but the sure as heck won't check out alive.. Worst mistake they could make.


I think people are simply getting tired of being attacked and assaulted by others who have no respect for other people... We were taught different than that growing up and had to say yes sir, and yes maam to ANYONE who was older than us. Including the teachers.

MY goodness how things have changed for the WORSE...

...when I was a mere lad of about 12 my father had a fall and broke his hip. He was laid up about six months. He had a sales route in a tough neighborhood and my mother had to take it over while he was hurt. My father called me into his bedroom and handed me his smith and Wesson 32-20 revolver and told me to ride with and protect my mother. He had already taught me the basics of safety when he gave me a 410 shotgun and a 22 rifle. He had shown me how to shoot the pistol while down in the woods shooting the 22 and 410.
