...when I was a mere lad of about 12 my father had a fall and broke his hip. He was laid up about six months. He had a sales route in a tough neighborhood and my mother had to take it over while he was hurt. My father called me into his bedroom and handed me his smith and Wesson 32-20 revolver and told me to ride with and protect my mother. He had already taught me the basics of safety when he gave me a 410 shotgun and a 22 rifle. He had shown me how to shoot the pistol while down in the woods shooting the 22 and 410.

EXACTLY.
SCUMBAGS like this try to take away your rights only a tiny bit at a time. They ERODE like water erodes an earthen embankment.
SLOWLY, gradually until one day the embankment collapses and gets washed away, just like they want to do with the second amendment.

Amazing how political types always seem to think they alone know what is best for me and my family.....

I Would gladly buy a one way ticket for all of those who feel that way. Country of their choice...
