Okay. So you cannot explain the differences. MOST people cannot.
WHAT the ones who do not know anything about them worry over is a hunting rifle, made to APPEAR like a AR-15 military rifle on the outside, but it really is just a simple one trigger pull, one shot comes out, rifle. Same as used for hunting..... MO DIFFERENCE except this one has a more appealing LOOK to it.
The people who are screaming about it have no clue what they are saying or how any of this works. That is a shame.
WHAT I am in favor of is a BETTER background check to include reports of mental instability. THE criminal offenses would automatically be there if the Sheriffs office in Broward County would have ACTED only one time with that misguided murdering kid. He would have then had a record and when the background check was performed he could not have purchased a gun LEGALLY. The store would not have sold it to him.
He likely would have bought one illegally then, like all the criminals do....
If we disarm the citizens, then the criminals have nothing stopping them from robbing and shooting anyone they want....
And so the game continues......
