I am very thankful for your service, and I quite firmly believe that, in general, an honorable (that leaves out John Francois Kerry - a.k.a., "Lurch" - don'tcha know!) military service record on any resume should make that resume go to the top of the stack. It's simply the intelligent thing to do.
