Yes, the state & local "sanctuary" retards will refuse to cooperate with ICE and will let the illegals go, like you say, but ICE will still be able to pursue the illegals, run them to ground, and deport them.

I suspect,
the problem here is 'local authorities' deciding
that 'no local crimes have been committed' (or pardoning
them) so they release the illegals rather than surrender
them to the federal authorities.

(For which I feel 'they' ought to be prosecuted.)
