I always enjoy your thought you put into things. I kind of tend to agree with you. Ten grand is a paltry sum to be able to walk again and not be in agony. This will only get worse un-attended.

I find myself thinking along these lines . . .
If the problem continues, or worsens could it lead
to permanent paralysis?

If it could than I suspect you might ought to bite the
financial bullet and get the surgery sooner rather
than risking the worst.

But I do not know enough about your exact situation to
really make a recommendation.
