...it's the same with local police departments. They claim that the police there all favor gun strict gun control. The truth is that the upper level in police departments in blue cities / states supports it because they are appointed by democrats who favor it. The rank and file know that an armed law abiding citizen with a gun is more likely to come to their aid in an emergency than they are to shoot em.
