Reminds me of a story (as so many things do!)

Guy plays golf with three buddies at the end of the round he has a tantrum. Breaks all his clubs in half and tosses em in the water hazard at the 18th green. Golf bag follows, then the golf shoes and glove. Goes into the clubhouse and slashes his wrists. Club employees and his golfing buddies manage to get the bleeding stopped. Somebody calls 911 and the paramedics arrive and put him on a stretcher. As they are wheeling him out of the clubhouse he raises his head and looks at his pals, "Same time tomorrow?"

Well guys,

I have among other things:
1. Herniated disk around L3-L4
2. acute sciatica
3. degenerative disc disease
4. Pain of lumbar spine.

Yeah, no kidding I have pain from my lumbar spine.....

So, I will take a MEGA DOSE treatment of heavy duty steroids to try to clear up the inflammation and relieve the sciatic nerve inflammation. COupled with some new exercises I get to learn at Therapy for a few weeks.

IF that does not work, it is off to the surgeon next year. Not much choice.
I am hoping this helps or works but I cannot see how it is going to repair a herniated disc.

RIBIT I am just about to put my clubs up for sale bro and join the OCC. (old codgers club)

Before ya know it I will be a scratch golfer and just missed my tour card! lol!!!

Right now I am in some serious pain. My shoulders did not hurt this bad when I tore the rotator cuff all to shreds. Even the 5 lamenectomies did not hurt like this.

SO hopefully these steroids have some pain killing power as I did not get any of those prescribed.....

Just wish my left leg would stop throbbing in the calf muscle.

Oh well. Have to deal with it.

Catch you all later. I need to go set up the Tens unit and start some electric current therapy. That might help a little.
