As Democrats learned (and promptly forgot) a year ago, it's never wise to take pollster predictions too seriously. Still, common sense AND most of the pollsters say that Moore will win in Alabama. I did see one pollster predicting a JONES win, though, and it was a Fox News poll taken yesterday.
More and more, what we're learning is that polling is worse than useless. Not only are pollsters affecting whether voters bother to vote, they're also causing our elected leaders to shift their stated positions from what is best to what the pollsters tell them people want to hear. That ain't my idea of leadership.

Louie Gohmert: Victory for Roy Moore Represents Another Reprieve for Christians and America
by Sean Moran

Rep. Louie Gohmert told Breitbart News Executive Chairman Steven K. Bannon on Breitbart News Tonight that electing Judge Roy Moore represents another reprieve for America and Christians.
Rep. Gohmert said that the Alabama Senate race represents “a battle for the soul of the country.”
Bannon asked Gohmert, “Why is the toughest thing he’s been against the Republican establishment?”
Gohmert responded, “They would rather be in the minority and go along to get along. They prefer smooth sailing rather than standing up for what’s right.”
The Texas congressman responded, “You know, I know — and, boy, does Roy Moore know — that standing up for what’s right comes at a heavy cost and Roy Moore has really paid it. He’s been through absolute hell.”
Rep. Gohmert then chided the Democrats’ condescension towards Christians, saying, “This is a brilliant man, a very, very smart man and it comes back to the condescension that came with Obama that you cling to your God and your guns as if that makes you less intelligent.”
Congressman Gohmert then suggested that Donald Trump represented another chance for America and that he believed that Trump had a greater chance of winning the election compared to what the pundits expected. Gohmert said, “Frankly, Steve, on the night of the election I told my wife, ‘I feel like Trump has much more of a chance that they’re giving him.’”
The Texas congressman then elaborated and then suggested that if Hillary Clinton were elected, she would have nominated a Supreme Court justice who would have declared Christians a “hate group.”
“If Hillary were elected, then she replaces Scalia with someone that has contempt for the God we know, who rules the universe,” Gohmert explained. “And our freedom of religion would have been gone. They would have declared Christians a hate group.”
“I said to my wife, ‘Honey they’ll probably have me in jail within four years,’” Gohmert said.
“My freedom was at stake because of my beliefs,” he added.
Congressman Gohmert said during his speech in Alabama on Monday night for the Judge Roy Moore rally, “It’s time to stop the fraud. It’s time to elect a righteous man — let’s send Roy Moore to Washington.”
Gohmert argued that, with President Donald Trump, America got another reprieve, and if Alabamians elect Judge Roy Moore, America gets another chance.
Gohmert concluded, “We got another chance, we got a reprieve. Dear God, we got a chance and now we got another chance.”
