HI Linda!

Thanks ! Yes . I am seeing an orthopaedic back/spine specialist Wednesday. I can relate to not being able to walk to the bathroom. I have so much pain shooting down my left leg into my calf from just sitting in this chair I could scream.

I have taken 1,000 mg of advil this morning. I have a TENS electrode unit on me pulsing through severely agitated muscle in left BUTT cheek.

There is no good position to sit, stand or walk. I can LAY in my bed though. It takes pressure off.

Don;t know what is going on. As my dear wife has pointed out to me numerous times in various methods and tones,
if ya know what I mean, likely I should not have helped lift the 6 year old electric range to a truck to give to friends daughter or help son in law move a 200 pound kitchen countertop out of my father's house I am selling Friday next week.

I just hate it when I have to admit she's right.... After all, I am the engineer, and a dumb one at that.. lol!!!

Looking forward to Wednesday's visit with back specialist.

I wonder if Nemo can legally mail me some medical marijuana from out there on the left coast? LOL!!!!

I hope the doc can give me a shot to ease down this pain immediately and some strong pain pills and anything else that will help alleviate the traveling shooting pain down the leg through my rear end....

This is a bad time of year to come down with this stuff.

micro,

If it's a herniated disc, I think you are supposed to be flat on your back on a firm mattress. And while you're laying down, if your ankles don't hit each other, your pelvis has rotated. That would need straightening out and facilitate recovery.

When I had my herniated disc, I could hardly walk to the bathroom, I literally saw stars. Horrible. Can't believe you can drive with those symptoms. You better take care of it, one way or the other. Maybe go to ER?

Hope you recover soon!
