Thus the run up...

But remember these futures markets are settled in CASH.

They don't actually buy or sell bitcoin.

They just trade around the price.

CME will reference Bitstamp, GDAX, itBit and Kraken BTC price for example.

BUT what it DOES DO is open this bitch up to MAIN STREAM.

Increased awareness = increased price.

But with the volatility on the BTC markets you can expect some margin futures traders to get absolutely SLAUGHTERED out of the gate..

Eventually though it should actually help price stability.

Interesting times..

I hope we make some new millionaires here on GLP over the next year or two...
