"Call Me By Your Name," a movie about an adult man's sexual relationship with an underage boy, is 2017's best picture, according to the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
The group of America's top film critics met Sunday to vote on their annual rankings. Their top pick was "Call Me By Your Name," which follows a 17-year-old Italian boy who develops a sexual relationship with his father's 24-year-old American intern. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the movie is a film adaptation of Andre Aciman's romantic novel of the same name. It has been hailed as "an erotic triumph" by the New York Post, "a romantic marvel" by The Atlantic, and "a gorgeous gay love story" in The Guardian. ...
Hmmm ... the only surprise here is that they didn't get Kevin Spacey to star in the film, eh?
