It's not as if deporting them is easy. It's godawful expensive... I think I was reading $25,000 for a single deportation, but it might have been more than that. And a lot of these guys refuse to say where they're from, so it's not always easy to get Mexico to agree to take them.

And there isn't anything stopping them from returning over and over. This isn't just conjecture. We've seen that happening.

We need to treat them like the criminals they are. Prison is appropriate. But it shouldn't be a free ride, and the illegals should be made to pay a heavy price while they're there. Make them work. Give them little more than oatmeal, horse or dog meat, cabbage, lemons and water. Make sure they regret the day they set foot in the United States.

Guys,
my two cents.

I do not want our prison systems filling up with illegals.
Period. The prisons are for US criminals.

It costs taxpayers a lot of money to have them.

Why not simply deport them when they are caught???

If they have comitted felony crimes then we have a different subject, but why not just board themm on a plane and land them in Southern Mexico or central America somewhere and drop them off.

Tell them if they are caught again, the drop off point won't be so nice. If they want to become a US citizen and assimilate, then APPLY for citizenship the legal way.... Otherwise, you is going back and if you come again illegally you will not be happy with your destination this time. (I am thinking in the middle of IRAQ or SYRIA)

Just my thoughts... Your may differ...
