STARLIGHT, Star Bright, my 4 years of paradise were like Ribits. I was enjoying 4 years in the southeast asian climate, and it came with plenty of everything....

ALL expenses paid too! LOL!!!!!!

No, I am not a computer professional. My son in law is.
I have just learned an awful lot from him and some before him.

Remember that I made a living by tearing things apart to see what made them work and then improving them as an engineer. Designing, materials spec, manufacturing engineering, all kinds of things. Computers always interested me and what made them work and how to speed them up, repair them without having to go another or pull your hair out..

So I build my own systems with available off the shelf parts and not proprietary. Mine are always expandable in several ways. What I don;t know I can just ask my son in law.

He almost has his doctorate in computer technology...

I completely agree. By saying race or the haves and have nots, I was thinking of a recent encounter with a garage attendant who was white. He resented luxury cars.

In general, I find the populace has lost or is losing the ability to attain the American dream and they are more and more resentful. This is why I think there are two groups of concern -- racists and have nots. And the have nots are not necessarily poor. The people have been squeezed to the last dollar.

What are your four years of paradise? And were you a computer professional?
