I follow much the same policy - posting news I find INTERESTING, regardless of whether I agree with it.
That said, I often comment on the things I submit to give folks an idea of where I stand. I think people are sometimes more interested in why I find a story interesting than they are in the story itself. I also usually agree with the articles I've posted... if only because I don't don't waste my time on obvious nonsense. But there's also news where I'm not sure what to think, and news that's such obvious propaganda that it makes me laugh (i.e. Most of clo's posts.)
The bottom line is that it's "interest" that makes me post news, not agreement.
