And being in a 5th wheel I have a fresh water tank 12 volt pump system, solar panels. Dont get much sun here in the winters but......I can take showers without any power to the unit. I just had to buy 2 more huge RV batteries, $300 chezzzz When the power went out this morning I had nothing. Went outside and the battery's were bone dry, 5 volts is all. One came back but the other was shorting the system out. I got new ones that are much better then what was in here.

Nemo

I was without power for ten days a couple years ago.

The remnants of a hurricane winds came thru and caused a large tree to lose some large branches and brought down the wires. Several places.....

It was ugly....

I did not own a generator then.

Think how fortunate you are to be prepared and actually have one to use..... That is some good planning there bro... Yes, it sucks when the power goes out....
