I have found it cheaper to see something interesting on Tophatter and ten go find it on ebay and buy it or its equivalent much cheaper..
Like the last two watches I purchased. They look great and keep great time. Wear them all the time.
But you are right, stay off of and away from Tophatter as far as bidding goes. The Ring I won but didn't have to spend money on was undersized. It is not worth putting any money into to re-size it upward as it is not worth it.
I've kicked the TopHatter habit... haven't been on it in about a month. It was fun, but considering that virtually everything it sells is cheaper elsewhere (once you factor in the S&H cost), I don't see much point in bidding.
