The store room has three doors, including an external door and another to a bathroom that also has an external door.
If the barn caught fire, I'd much rather get out through a door than a "legal escape window."
Naw, I think the biggest issue is that I'm calling it a barn and it will, I assume, be taxed as a farm building not a residence. I could use it myself, but I'd likely get in trouble if someone nosy reported that I was renting it out.
So I won't do that. But I might let someone (say, a farm hand) stay in it for free. I doubt that would be a problem.
