...many of my "solutions" are presented 'tongue in cheek' or perhaps 'foot in mouth'. These Antifa folks are professionals and 'peaceful protesters' are no match for them. They will keep coming and causing violence as long as they are paid to do so or until the long arm of the law reaches out and grabs them by the stacking swivel and bangs them over the head so hard it breaks the arches in their feet. The only way we can compete with that is to either hire our own assholes or organize ourselves. Problem is that we don't take very well to being organized. If I was king, I would figure out who is providing the funding for these professional goons and 'disappear em'.

Ribit, that is the perfect solution for that scenario, but antifa seems to be blowing past going after the kkk and those of similar ilk on the right.
Check this out, Berkley, yesterday, where a "No to Marxism" rally was cancelled and some people showed up anyway. Then antifa showed up "in battle formation armed with shields (which were specifically prohibited under published police rules) and the police appearing to stand down. Journalists who were filming were repeatedly attacked by Antifa." Police moved to the perimeter, preventing anyone else from entering the 'theater.'
