The view from the 60,000' level is decidedly different than it is down here. Assad has been a target, with good reason, breaking the Iranian imperialist arms/missile pipeline surrounding our allies. It would not be good for us if Iran took Israel on the way to Saudi Arabia, for example. Ultimately, it hits us here. And I don't just mean oil.
I thought and warned a couple of years ago ISIS might try to take Jordan, then the Arabs/Iranians would attack Israel from all sides. Jordan already has a huge Palestinian population that ISIS could theoretically mobilize. Instead, they expanding their caliphate, which they must have known would be taken out, while building strength abroad. They wanted to engage us in many theaters, still engaging in economic warfare, which ribit warned of years ago. Bottom line, we are job 1 for these creeps.
Don;t forget Iran was involved in 9/11. Now we see Iranian involvement in antifa and the building of paramilitary strength via Venezuela. Meanwhile MB works the soft side -- immigration, free speech, recruiting, brain washing, infiltrating. And, NK, Iranian, Arab nukes increasingly in play. Let's not forget, the Russians and Chinese have missiles that could launch a nuke or EMP and both have proliferated. This is a challenge and NK needs stopping.
I think the journalist was wrong. He doesn't know what he doesn't know and I don't either. It's only one threat scenario.
I also think it was right to go for warrantless searches for a period of time if DC is threatened, which wouldn't surprise me. If DC goes down, chaos ensues and this is exactly what the Communists/Socialists/Fascists of the Left are looking for to put forth their Socialist utopia of the impoverished. Even that would fail, as the country crashed. We can't let this happen.
