Debbie, a liberal schoolteacher I know, started a Facebook thread bemoaning Sheriff's Arpaio's pardon. A ton of her liberal friends piled on, some saying they were in tears, others speaking of their embarrassment at being an American, many others turning on Trump and hoping for his imminent impeachment. Then I got into it, the one and only sane person in an asylum.
You can't win in an environment like that. I don't know why I do it, except that, as with my participation on clo's FART board, I like to point out fallacies where I find them, and there are always a ton of them when liberals get together.
So, the most amusing part was this private Facebook message I received a few minutes ago:
Hi. Reading your posts on my sister in law Debbie's post thread. I was married to her brother Marty who was an attorney a democrat but more a centrist like I am. I've always kept my mouth shut on politics with her and when the family was alive and we'd have a get together. I live in so cal. I don't let her know I voted for trump and I agree with everything you posted. Can't believe how these people are thinking. Debbie and Larry are smart. The reasoning they have isn't smart or true. Obama divided this nation with black lives matter and our police couldn't do their jobs. Two police officers where I lived got shot and died when going to a supposedly marriage dispute which was a trap. The woman police officer had just come back from maternity leave four mth baby and her partner was getting ready to retire in two mths after 30 yrs. so so sad!!! Did obAMA ever show up for the police funerals like he did or had one of his staff attend. No!!! I live and have lived my entire life where the illegal aliens come in and have seen the damage and expense they have caused. The sheriff had to do what he did. It's so out of hand. I was wondering two yrs before obama left if we would come out of it. Look at the world situation. We were laughed at and looked at as weak. Yes trump is a little out there sometimes but he's what we need to clean the swamp because I don't know if anyone else wouldn't have left by now. The more he tries to clean things up the more the political arena who have been there way too long including the lobbyists push back and make things up. The liberals were tribe to impeach trump on first day. Maxine waters was first one and she's being looked at for corruption she and her husband. They live in a $3m mansion and don't even live in her district. How can she afford that? So enough ranting by me just wanted you to know I liked what you posted and you have guts.

I saw a story that said pardoning him could lead to Trump's impeachment. Fake news! And what a stupid charge. It's like saying you're hunting Islamic terrorists, but you're not allowed to look for Arabs and Iranians, go find a little old lady to check out in proportion to the population. Absolute craziness. jmho.
