...if ya get any kind of notice about an approaching problem that might leave ya without water, run your bathtub full. It should last ya a week or ten days if ya don't bathe in it.

...problem living in an apartment complex or waiting it out in an office building is that the water in the Traps in the toilet will evaporate and the gas from the sewers will fill the building. Happened where I was working at AT&T once. Everybody skedaddled except for me. My second level ask me why I didn't go with everybody else. I told him that I didn't know which general order allowed me to leave my post if it smelled bad. (He was a retired colonel from the Marines) he bought my lunch that day.

The fox guy on the beach said he went into a store a couple of days ago to buy water and people asked him why he was buying water. That doesn't bode well.
