her pulse rate was around 190 per minute. Sky high!

UNFORTUNATELY, I KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO WAS RUNNING 220 FOR 18 HOURS. COULD NOT BE CARDIOVERTED BECAUSE OF FOOD INTAKE.

As for the procedure, her cardiologist simply said that she incinerated it.

CARDOVERSION IS A ELECTRICAL ZAP IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET THE PERSON'S HEART BACK INTO SINUS RHYTHM.

INCINERATION, I'M NOT SURE. SHE COULD HAVE MEANT AN ABLATION, WHICH IS BURNING OFF THE PART OF THE HEART THAT IS CAUSING ITS ABNORMALITY.

BUT, IN YOUR/YOUR WIFE'S CASE, IT WAS MANY YEARS AGO.

190 PULSE RATE IS, INDEED, SKY HIGH.

WHEW, AND TAKE CARE - 'k

Kathy,

This was many years ago, but my recollection is that her pulse rate was around 190 per minute. Sky high!

As for the procedure, her cardiologist simply said that she incinerated it.
