Steven Hatfill was illegally accused of being behind the Anthrax Letters. He sued, and the U.S. Gov settled for 5.8 million dollars. Robert S. Mueller was the Director of the FBI during that time, and thus is the guy who is ultimately responsible for the witch hunt against Hatfill.
Stand up guy, eh ?

Oh, and just for the record, here is the very slim article from the NY TIMES about the Hatfill settlement. Note that the Times article makes no mention of their own culpability, although they do admit they were sued .... "but the lawsuit was dismissed', in the entire affair in this article. Stand up Journalists, eh ? Well, gee whiz it only took umpteen million years for them to acknowledge how they covered up the HOLOCAUST during WWII.
Naw - who could POSSIBLE expect the Times to admit they had libeled the guy. They were just reporting what they were fed by Mueller's Mighty Minions.
