Thanks DG!

Yes sir, I am aware that there are Mexican families that have lived in the US prior to the country being the US and before TEXAS, New Mexico, or California became part of the U.S.

Those folks as far as I am concerned are part of this country.

Their culture or perhaps their sense of what they think is good for their children may be somewhat clouded by dislike of GRINGOS, (can't blame them for a lot of them),
but they are not much different than most Parents like myself who want their kids to grow up and be successful and marry the right person for the right reason.

WHAT I do not like is illegals. My dad's grandparents came here from Germany. My mother's came from Ireland.

They all came through Ellis Island LEGALLY and worked their arses off. My dad's side actually started a successful mens dress trouser factory in Reading, Pennsylvania. He employed lots of folks.

They wanted to become Americans and live a dream that hard work and dedication can allow one to acheive success and fulfillment... Not necessarily rich. But independent....

I resent those who are here mooching, stealing, killing, raping, don;t want to learn our Language or become part of our culture...

Have no problem with immigrants here legally at all or who were here before US....

Thanks for the explanation DG!

My best,

micro....

micro,

Just so you know, there was no way
her parents were going to allow her
to marry a WHITE guy, especially one
with red hair and freckles. In those
days the majority of the people
living in Gallup were of Hispanic
decent. Many of the families had
lived in that area for 200 or more years.
