Yep. It's gonna have all that fancy stuff.
Barn dimensions will be 30' x 60' on the upper tier, and 20' x 60' on the lower tier.. That's a lot smaller than I once hoped for, but back then I was looking at a steel structure, and the advertised prices I was seeing were really cheap. (I didn't realize that construction costs would be so much higher than what I'm doing now, though, or that finding a contractor in the area who can assemble such a building would be nigh unto impossible, what with needing to bring in cranes and all.)
So, the upper floor will be 30' x 60', with a single entrance for the animals. They, however, will only have access to a little of the upper
floor - the portion that has dirt under it. the rest of the second floor will be storage.
All totaled, this design gives me 600 sqft for animals, 600 sqft for vehicles, and 1800 sqft for storage and a bathroom.
Minus the space taken up by the stairs....
