I came home from DC yesterday. Ran right into a thunderstorm that was right on top of us, a deluge along with it, it was really coming down. Kind of neat watching the lightening when approaching it.

I left DC at 6:30, got home at 12:30 AM. I confess to taking an hours break at a rest area and finishing my sandwich, then taking a nap. Other than the storm, which I eventually drove out of, the ride was great.

Hear you on the long trips. I feel comfortable taking a nap on the NJ turnpike, but a room's a good idea, if it gets down to it.

Yes I am. About 10 hours of driving and 2 hours of meetings. I should be tired when I make it back. Just in case I am taking along a suitcase with clothes to stay over if I get too tired or run late.....

As we age De we tend to not be able to do the things we did when we were in our fifties and below.. Just the way it is... I will be okay. THANK you for your concern....
