I did not even consider the dividend as I do not look at stocks for those. I buy them for their increased share values in a few years , sell them, and rebuy.

In Kroger's case, we simply take the 2 for 1 split, let it drop to 20 dollars and then buy more because it will split again in a couple of years.

Good dependable stock and company....

I do a fair amount of my grocery shopping at Kroger.
But, the dividend yield is a paltry 2%. And I don't
recall seeing it amongst the Dividend Aristocrats.
