You mean, just mooch off of family and rent out a room the way clo does?

That's not at all appealing. I agree, though, that we should all cut back on our reported income so that nobody has government-provided food, housing or transportation that we fund unwillingly.

I intend to work for myself in the future, producing little more than I can use, and to use the excess in barter with neighbors. Cash transactions are an option too, though I'd be breaking the law if I didn't report cash inflows as income. *ahem* Can't do that. It'd be wrong...
