Different sites give different numbers, but the story remains the same: Medicare's unfunded obligations dwarf Social Security's.
Per USDebtClock.org, unfunded Medicare obligations are 71% worse than unfunded Social Security obligations. Unless someone can come up with something still greater, it appears that MEDICARE is the world's largest Ponzi scheme.
Also, be sure to note the liability per taxpayer. It's horrifying - and I believe the real numbers to be even worse. This is why those who close their eyes to the problem or try to just wish it away are DOPES. The problem isn't going away. It is a tsunami that will sweep away and DESTROY everything and everyone who take no action.

This chart is a few years old (FY2012) - but the situation has only worsened. Consider that in the five years since it was produced, reported "Official Estimates" have increased 25 percent!
What about the other numbers shown in the chart?
