Ah, this brief union was a blip in the process of attempting to create wealth via serial monogamy, eh? Yeah, I've observed that type of repetitive hypergamy before.

I was blessed with loving parents (married almost 62 years before my mother died) who really lived their Christian faith and instilled faith, personal responsibility, strong work ethic, and perseverance in their children through word and deed. I endeavor to do the same, but in all honesty, my father was a rock of integrity that is hard to measure up to. Been married almost 33 years ... have half as many kids as they had to put up with, but probably have only done half as good a job of raising them as they did us.

Well, I'm not naming names. But... a person one of the Farters refers to as the "man-of-his/her-dreams" died heroically, way back. This Farter hit on the hero's best friend AT THE FUNERAL, and, the story goes, bedded him that very night. Needless to say, the relationship did not last long, though the child who came along a while later was told that the best friend was his father. (The two married briefly after that and, because the seeds of white-male hatred were already setting in, they naturally divorced. This was the only divorce that didn't prove lucrative for the Farter, btw.)

To me, such irresponsibility is nauseating, but then I had two parents who took their parenting seriously and taught their children right from wrong. Not so for too many of the Farters.
