...I had shoulder surgery before and did take whatever it was they gave me in the hosp. After I got out they gave me two bottles of something. I still got most of em if I haven't thrown em out. I have this thing about giving anything artificial control of my life. I rather screw it up by myself

Yep. BUT

WE old jarheads ain't as young as we once wuz so take the Morphine. It won;t get you totally out of pain. It will help you with it.

You won't be on it for long anyway..

Hate to say it, but it is the Therapy after that surgery that is gonna let you know you had an operation there...


I called my team of physical therapists

"Physical terrorists". But as you work through it, it does get better..... It is a TOUGH surgery though so don't underestimate it.
