That was the case a long time ago. But not anymore. Today, there's a period of time, usually two years, during which life insurance won't pay if the insured commits suicide. After that it will.

Don't people know that when you commit suicide your life insurance policy is NOT binding anymore? You basically just eradicated ANY beneficiaries hope of receiving the death benefit to take care of YOUR final expenses..... Mush heads.....
