Oh, and btw - if the trajectory of the missile had been verified as a legitimate threat to our allies or the United States itself -

there is not a doubt in my mind that kim-ill-fatso would have been dead before that missile had gone 50 miles.

THAT would be a legally and CONSTITUTIONALLY justifiable response to an attack from a hostile foreign nation.

Yahoo.com missed the mark on 'Why it didn't strike.'

It is because we now have a man as President who actually respects the Constitution.

Assassinating a 'foreign leader' of an admittedly very hostile to the US foreign nation, when said foreign nation is NOT AT WAR with the US, and said foreign nation has NOT ATTACKED THE UNITED STATES, would not only be an Act of War illegally initiated by the President of the United States, UNConstitutionally, and in violatioon of both United States Law and 'international' TREATIES that the United States has legally ratified.

and THAT, folks, is the REAL REASON why we did not strike.

We have a President who actually respects the law.
