The property taxes shown are the rates for the HOMESTEAD ACT which are seriously reduced from what they normally are. These are about half of what they normally would be. THAT is something I would not want.
That is why I live 30 miles away from there and in a much lower property tax area, which happens to be the fastest growing area in Ohio for like 17 years in a row.
When I built my house here, it was rural and zero shopping places. Now it is shoppers paradise and an over abundance of grocery stores competing and all kinds of retailers and department stores.
Convenient, but the INFRASTRUCTURE was not designed for this much traffic we have now and I think the genius politicians who keep on allowing more and more housing to be built never think about how all these additional vehicles are going to add to an already bad problem that they never once thought about and continue to be blind to today...
Dad's rates are still twice as high as mine. And he is on the homesteaders rates...... THAT area is like living in Shaker Heights in Cleveland. HIGH desirability area that a lot of people want to live in. Highly rated schools as well. TWO top tier high schools. The township has over 60,000 residents and could become a city. That debate is going on...
Average household income is over a hundred grand per year there.
