Dear Linda,
I haven't actually looked up what 'combat radius' is . . .
But I would imagine it is how far out they can fly,
then fight for a while, then fly back. I would hope
that they use the same criterion and specifications
in calculating it.

"Zim, So, the Tomcat was faster."

Much faster and maneuverable, turn on a dime. The F-35 can go further, but is slow as molasses and can't get out of its own way. F-35 is slow boat to china. The cost of stealth.

Interesting stats.

Is the F-14 combat radius correct, given its range was 2050 miles without refueling?
