Since when do liberals think about things like that?

Corporations expected to fund the Hawaiian "basic income" will raise their prices substantially... ideally, only in Hawaii, but maybe everywhere. Some will leave the state. Ultimately, Hawaiian vacations will become a whole lot more expensive, so fewer people will take them.

And perhaps THAT is what this is really about. Environmentalists would love for Hawaiian tourism to fall off a cliff. So would selfish fruitcakes like Larry Ellison. Remember when he tried suing locals who were LEGALLY accessing their own property?
