My son received his AP exam scores today - in Physics, English and Music Theory. He knocked all three out of the park and thus receives another 12 credits toward his bachelor's degree. Thus, he will enter the school with 47 credits, needing just 73 more to graduate. He was pretty excited, telling me that it would very difficult now to not finish in three years. Even better: If he takes just 15 units per semester, he'll graduate in 2.5 years. 15 is actually what he's required to take as an Echols scholar.
This is great for me, of course. If he's done as quickly as he thinks he might be, it'll save me around $40,000.
He's planning to be a math and linguistics double major.
