Hi all.

Survived the holiday.

Put me down for an F-22 Raptor Fighter Jet. Of course we still need the Wartfrog for close aerial support but for the nastiest fighter I will take the F-22 over the F-35.

BOTH are extremely great, and before the F-22 I loved the F-16 which is still mass produced... Lockheed has signed a deal with TATA Corporation in India to produce F-16's the demand globally is so high.

A great fighter jet. But it has been surpassed by the F-22 .

Interesting discussion.

BTW

I signed with a real estate agency today to sell my father's house I remodeled.

I'll point you to a place where you can see it after they get the photo team out there to post pics and the description. The agent said she believes it will sell incredibly quickly as it is a one floor, all brick ranch with monstrous dimensions.

We shall see.....

LAter!

Chuckling a little. The last time I saw such a brouhaha about a new US Air Force WMD ... was when the F-111 was introduced during Vietnam. Endless stories about how much of a lemon the plane was, fraught with endless problems, couldn't be flown due to down-time ... and so on. Many from so-called experts.

The TRUTH of the matter ? The F-111 was the BEST new plane (at the time) of ANY new aircraft- lowest rate of manufacturing defects, best safety record - and it was one hell of a work horse. Source for that info ? My dad - one of the primary 'accident investigators' for the Fifth Air Force during the mid-late 60's. Fifth Air Force - all of SouthEast Asia and the Pacific at the time.

Still have an eerie poster photo litte bro gave me - big one, framed work of art - of an F-111 at low altitude, darkness encroaching - labeled 'Whispering Death'. That's the view an actual fighter pilot had of the instrument he personally wielded. Always liked that poster - and the attitude.
