this is going to be an unpopular public announcement but needs to be stated.
I am no better than Clo.
You are no better than Clo.
For ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.
For this reason God sent HIS SON to redeem us from our sin and make a way to have direct access to Heaven's throne. How? Remember the VAIL of the inner sanctum called the Holy of Holies was RIPPED (torn) in half from the TOP downward.
THAT TEAR came from The Lord so that WE sinful humans can now come directly yo HIS THRONE and communicate with HIM through Prayer and seek HIS Blessings AND HIS Mercy and Forgiveness of our wickedness.
For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Yes, every one of us is guilty in HIS SIGHT.
DO YOU REMEMBER the parable of when a bunch of Holier than the pharisees brought a woman who was having sex with another man, caught in the very act, to JESUS and declared that the law required her to be stoned to death, what do you say Jesus???
He stooped to the ground and began to write on the dirt and the accusers began to leave one at a time.
WHY?
I think the ONE who KNOWS EVERYTHING, including their sins, began writing on the ground and exposing them for their own sinful lives.
HE asked, woman where did your accusers go?
He told the woman that since all the accusers are no longer there to condemn her, NEITHER DOES HE.
(and HE is able to destroy both BODY AND SOUL).
HE said GO and sin no more....
Today, HE looks down from HIS THRONE in HEAVEN and says to us, come unto me all ye that are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest.
He that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
In my Fathers house are many mansions. Ifit were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that WHERE I AM there YE MAY BE ALSO.
NONE of us are better or worse than any other. Our sins are as black and vile to a HOLY GOD as everyone else.
The 2nd greatest commandment is: Love your neighbor as yourself.....
HARD to do... But it is the heart of God...
Let's stop focusing on others and worry about our own shortcomings for which we will all give an account unless you have asked forgiveness for them and they have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.
Like you all, I do not like liberalism, hypocrisy, hatred for being conservative or a Christian, white, or anything else.
We however must recognize that we are as wicked in the sight of God as certain other people, like Mika and Joe, Clo, ZZ, whoever, are to us.....
We retain the right to not put up with the verbal garbage here on the board such as from ZZ, or others who want to spew.
Just saying that while I understand DE's rationale, and his intense and genuine dislike of the hypocrisy, we are no better as people in God's sight.
Let's look in the mirror deeply honestly and ask ourselves if GOD would be pleased with us and our words and actions and thoughts from today or yesterday.
IF you are like me, the answer will be NO.
Then like the Publican who knew he was bad and had sinned against God, bow our head and say GOD be merciful to me a sinner.......
Just some things to ponder in our individual lives gang. I am as guilty as any and all.
