COMMON core has been in schools over ten years now.
My teenage grandchildren do not even know how to WRITE their own names. HIstory is a joke.
Solving mathematical problems is a joke of here we go round the mulberry bush chasing monkeys and weasels...
(I sometimes wonder if it politicians the monkey is chasing. Same as weasels right?)
My oldest daughter whom I have encouraged to become an adjunct professor says the school system is deteriorating rapidly. The breakdown in learning in the classrooms and control of the classrooms has really been a downhill spiral.
The FEDERAL government has NO BUSINESS in education. Neither does the UNION MEMBERS from NEA, who should all move to their favorite commie country.
Oh well. I don't want to get started.
Yes Captain. The school sysem is crumbling around our ears and necks and going downhill rapidly... History is re-written and omitted. All for Statism and saying sig heil to the government...
