Cut the Cartels off by the balls.
The Feds have no right or business banning drugs to begin with.
Legalize EVERYTHING at a Federal level. Let states handle it.
Release all non-violent offenders from prison.
Save billions.
Tax and regulate. $500 Billion in new revenues.
Street drugs kill. But drugs produced in a lab are 1000% safer.
Provide funds for treatment.
This has already been tested and done in other countries to great success, and drug addiction rates actually go lower.

Dear OP,
As long as Sessions and his golf buddies are investing int CCA, etc. there will be no end to prohibition of intoxicants that aren't AMA/FDA approved.
Also, there is a massive bureaucracy to fund: not only prison industry, but DEA, lawyers, judges, etc. Not to mention defending textiles, Big Pharma, cotton, etc.
I could go on, but this should be obvious to anyone so I'm not sure why this thread is pinned.
