...come to think of it a machine gun on the ground is kinda limited too. If ya pulls the trigger and just hold it down the barrel will melt and they go thru a lot of ammo in a hurry as well. How soon you run out depends on how much you can carry. The gun is heavy, the ammo is heavy. No easy solutions.

...nah, ya line em up in the sights and let rip with a 1/3 second burst. That is a couple of hundred rounds.
