That's what I don't have a feel for. I can see it being a long time with short bursts from a rifle, but in a dogfight, isn't it more line of sight and you have to keep firing until ya hit something?

Hear you on the storage and weight...

I can understand why they might have figured dogfights are obsolete, but what happens if we attack the dreaded Iranians on their Turf or if they decide to hit us in Syria to try and stop Assad from crying on their shoulder?

It may not be as simple as Russia and the US, neither of whom want to lose expensive plane or start a hot war with each other.

...all about the same I am told. The problem is ammo storage. 15 seconds is a long time if ya think about it.
