Zim, yes, monkey corrected me on requiring insurance companies to sell nationwide. I agree with you guys.

I wasn't seeing local offices as a requirement. Personally, I'd rather work over the Internet or by phone than go to an office. More convenient for me and less overhead for the insurance companies.

Dear Linda,
I'm pretty sure a law 'requiring' insurance companies
to write policies nationwide should be un-Constitutional.

I mean, if this is a small company operating in, say,
North and South Carolina how they gonna get the money
to open offices in californica?

On the other side of the coin there should not be a law
which says, say, Blue Cross and Blue Shield can not
sell policies anywhere in the country they want.
